If you happen to accidentally drop by and read this, you should know that this blog has been dead since Christmas of 2008. This was a blog requirement for my Computer Science class which I was planning to close down before the new year started. I was supposed to move all these posts to my Livejournal and make this blog viewable only to me. But we're now halfway through 2009 and I haven't touched this blog in forever.
I just recently went through all 65 of these entries and I realized something. Maintaining this blog wasn't just a requirement to me, it was much much more than that. This was my emotion outlet. My catharsis.
I guess I won't be moving my posts or locking down this journal. This blog contains most of the memories I had of the best high school year ever. And I think I'd like to leave it just the way it is.
And with that I bid this blog a farewell.
(I'll drop by in future and read through these entries if I'm feeling nostalgic. And trust me, I'll be visiting frequently.)

I'm hooome.
We attended the Davao Doctors Christmas party the night I came home. I spent most of the night hanging out at the back with Jp (Liana was in Boracay :( ) and Abi. Oooh, and Jp's mom gave us permission to crash their house this vacation. Psst, just tell us when. :D
And then I watched the Jason Mraz concert on dvd this morning. (Again, Isay, I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you enough but I'll thank you again anyway. Thank yooou. I love you.) God, he is just freaking amazing. And hilarious. The impromptu singing he does is just so amusing. And I can't get over how cleverly written his songs are. Oh Jason Mraz.
I'm here in my room. My sisters are sleeping on my bed. Well, no. Katrina's on her PSP and Anna's playing with Lego.
Tommy: Don't worry guys. We can find a safe game to play. Um. What about planes?
Chuckie: Might crash
Phil: Pin the tail on the donkey?
Chuckie: Might get kicked.
Lil: What about ring around the rosey?
Chuckie: We all fall down.
Ahaha, Chuckie Finster <3

3 days 'til Christmas! :D

i'm losing it
You know how I keep on saying that I have to fix my biological clock?
I'm seriously not kidding...
Ate: Is. Gising na.
Isabel: *grumblemumble*
Ate: 6:30 na Is.
Isabel: *grum-* What?!
I sat up in bed and saw that I was still in my Pisay uniform. Last thing I remember was that I went straight to bed when I got home at 2. And holy buttercupping hell, it was 6:30?! I slept for 16 hours?! Wtf!
You could never tell whether it's morning or evening in my room because of the drapes, but crap. My yaya uses that line to wake me up at 6:30 in the morning everyday. I started freaking out. Because, holy effing hell I didn't study at all and it's six-freaking-thirty in the morning! I didn't touch my bio book or my notes. I didn't memorize any math formulas or practice any problems. And I had an hour and a half to cram all that before the exams start?!
"Kaya 'to. Kaya 'to," I was muttering to myself as I hit the on button on my laptop.
I made a dash to the bathroom. As I climbed into the shower, I was already running through my head everything that needed to be done. Bio bonus, math formulas, quick notes review... My hand was on the shower's knob when I looked up outside the window. Weird. It was pitch dark. I couldn't see my neighbor's laundry hanging outside. I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I climbed up and peered outside the window. It really was that dark. Bit too early for 6:30...
And then it hit me.
I grabbed a towel and ran to my room. I checked the upper-right corner of my laptop.
And there I saw a P instead of an A on my analog clock.
Ahahahaha. Damn it. I laugh at myself.
I'm amazed at how 2 and a half years in Pisay can make you believe that you can go on and sleep uninterruptedly for sixteen hours without waking up just because you're that tired. I'm also amazed at how Pisay has made me think it's possible to study for 2.5 units worth of exams in an hour.
Oh, god. XD

big girl, you are beautiful
Holy craaaap, Hairspray was amazing.
- Left the house at 11:45ish. Dropped Leina off at Miriam and picked ate Anna up from UP. RD bought ate Anna and I tickets. Woo, thanks RD! :D
- We were still 5 minutes late for the 2:00 show. XD We missed Good Morning Baltimore and the beginning of The Nicest Kids In Town. But it was fine. :)
- There wasn't a dull, out-of-place actor among any of them. (Okay maybe there was one?) They all played their roles awesomely. They were fantastic singers and actors.
- Dulce, who played Motormouth Maybelle, and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, who played Mrs. Von Tussel, were just woah. *___*
- Oh. My God. Filipinos make amazing black people. Next to Africans, I think Filipinos are the second greatest singers in the world. The three girls who played the Dynamites blew me away. They were freaking perfect. Amazing.
- They didn't perform Ladies Choice and New GIrl In Town. :( But it was still amazing.
- Its storyline was so different from the movie's storyline. But again, it was still amazing. *_*
- The set was so cute! With the lights and the moving platform and everything. Haha.
- Have I mentioned it was amazing?
- WE SAW SIR MARDAN!
Anna, RD, me: HI SIR!
AHAHA, sorry sir. XD
Sir Mardan: *waves*
Sir's barkada: "Sir"? - I didn't find Arriele. :(
- We stayed outside the doors and got 8 cast members to sign our programmes. Ate Anna and I flailed over the fact that Tim Espinosa, the adorable guy who
was the only one who couldn't sing but made up for it with his dancing skillzplayed Link, signed ours with, "Hello lil' darlin." *squeespazzflail* - RD and Anna dared me to have Sir Mardan sign Sam Milby's Bench ad in the programme. I chickened out, of course. But that would have been funny. :))
- Took us two hours to get home, we watched three episodes of Will and Grace on RD's iPod in the car. Haha.
My Interpretation
I kind of don't care that he might be gay. He's hot. *_*

-for David Cook to come to the Philippines
*rather, confirm when he's coming. We all know he is. :)
-for David Archuleta to accompany himself on the guitar singing You Can.
*because You Can's my favorite track on the album. And Archuleta + guitar = yay. :D
-for Mika to come to the Philippines
*lol, asaaa. Still, though. Sana. :)
-an awesome prom
*d'you need a reason? Haha.
-a passing math grade
*again, reason not needed.
-more time
*I know, I know. Instead of wishing for more time, we should make the most of what we're given. Still, this year's disappearing more quickly than I thought it would. :(
-for everything in the world to be alright.
*all you need is lovvve. tantananananan.
it's over?
So apparently, this Comsci requirement's over.
*fist pump*
I don't think I'll stop posting though. Not yet, at least. I'll close this blog down on New Years Day. For a definitive ending.
But for now, I think I'm going to start blogging on Livejournal again. I miss it so.and yeah. i kinda just woke up an hour and a half ago and did nothing but watch youtube vids and surf through eljay comms. i'll get started now.

it's so ironic that the moon is smiling tonight
it was just our fair
it was all so fun
she was with her friends
and she was prolly preparing for this hell week
for an econ long test
probably curious about watching twilight
you know
all these things
but then
it all stops
then nothing matters
not your grades
not pisay
nothing
and it will all boil down to how you lived your life
~RD Bolinas
God bless Tintin Timbang.
ETA @ 9:17: I think I've figured out why the moon is smiling. I guess we can all imagine that it's Tintin up there smiling down at her loved ones. Smiling to say that everything's okay. That she's found peace.
